It started with my friend Adam Hernandez.  It was the fall of 1998, and we were shooting pool on our usual table in our favorite pool hall, Combos.  While talking about our garage band and a pressing wood shop project, we stumbled across an idea that would bind us together as friends in the years to come.  Under those musty lights, a vision for Saint Guitar Company was born.

Over the years, Adam developed his skills as a Luthier through a self-designed major, intense reading, apprenticeships, and 11 years of trial and error.  Today, the work has paid off.  He has evolved into a superior Luthier who strives for nothing less than perfection.  Everything from the wood choice to set-up is completely calculated, and the instruments show it.  Everyone who has played a Saint sees, feels and hears the amazing quality that comes from a guitar built entirely by the gifted and uncompromising hands of Adam Hernandez.

Combos is gone now, along with our table at the top of the stairs where Saint began.  But the dream has evolved and grown  into more than even we thought it would.  To have so many outstanding musicians using Saint Guitars to create, record and play their music has truly been a humbling experience.  We are so excited about where SGC is headed, and hope that you will join us for the journey.
